1D Wavespaces

There are six types of 1D wavespace: propagation, penetration, reflection, interference, pinned and plucking.

The type of wave in the wave space is shown in the top left corner of the space. Click on this to change between different types of wave.

The scaled width of the wave space is shown in the top right corner of the space and the time passing in the wave space is shown in the bottom left corner of the space. Wave spaces do not simulate in real-time.

Tips for use:

• Change between transverse and longitudinal waves in the Properties pane.
• Press the Refresh button on the wavespace's toolbar to clear the waves and restart wave generation from the source.
• Press the Pause button on the toolbar to temporarily stop the wave simulation. Pausing the simulation displays a number of control points on the wave, letting you manipulate it directly.
